Worth the Doing

Harvest moons
Have come and gone
And will come and go
Again and again.

The singing of spring
Has teased
The summer sun
To fruition
And lulled
The winter solstice
To sleep
Many times over.

There's no need
To hurry,
All happens.

Go slow,
Wrap ease about you.

It's worth
The doing.

Peaceful Hills

Clouds, lazily,
Come over the hills.

Summer,
Stretching
Along the little valley,
Yawns.

And the wonder of it all
Sings
In all things.

Sorrow

A bird
At sea, in the rain
Needs to fly
Just the same

Night's Dawning

When the colors
              of day
              easel and mix
My portrait
            in movement
                 is painted
I am what lovers
                 wait for
I set their needs
                 to truth
By the gift
           of my blindness
I am the dawn's fore
      and the day's past
In my shadow
      forever
           I shall last
I am the aft
                of noon
   and come not again
       for lovers too soon

One Love

Morning was asked,
"Morning
Do you miss
the night?"
Morning's light
Replied,
"I'm holding
her hand;
Loves's grand."

Memories

Leaving the candle
Lit
Through the night

For the sake

Of shadows
And dancing light:

Memories.

To Tranquility

Move

In accord
With silence,

Quietly

To
Tranquility.

Forgive

Love
Forever
Gives

Feel

Love
And heal

Wild Flowers

When I look without
And all is free,

When I look within
And all is simplicity,

Surely heaven
It will be.

We are all
Wild flowers

Growing
In the field
Of eternity.

Dancing

Light,
Dancing
With its partner,

Whirls us

In steps
Eternal.
